New Head Strength Coach looks to bring enthusiasm and intensity to Creekside Athletics

Creekside is proud to announce the addition of new Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Coach Oscar Lujan.  Coach Lujan comes to Creekside from Texas having grown up in the West Texas town of Alpine and graduating from Alpine High School in 1993 where he lettered in football, baseball, basketball and track and field. After graduating, he attended Ranger Jr. College and Texas A&M – Kingsville where he competed in both baseball programs.  Coach Lujan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi in May of 2000.  With 17 years experience in teaching and coaching, Coach Lujan brings an enthusiastic and demanding style of expectations to Creekside for the upcoming school year.

Coach Lujan has coached an overabundance of high school athletes who have gone on to further their careers at the Division I, II, III, and junior college levels in multiple sports.  He has coached district champions, regional champions, and even state champions in the state of Texas.  He brings  an intensity needed to take Creekside Athletics to the next level!
