The Hispanic Honor Society will hold its first mandatory meeting on Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 at 8:45am or 2:45pm in the small cafeteria. Members are required to attend one of these meetings and wear their club shirts if they have one!

Following our first meeting, we will be meeting every second Wednesday of every month through May at the same times/location.

Why join HHS?
>>Looks very good on a college application;
>>Scholarships available to graduating seniors (both local and national level;
>> join other members in activities that promote the Hispanic language and culture;

>>Competition at the regional and state level;
>>Wear an honor stole or cord at graduation.

Some of the possible activities of this organization are:

1.Field trips to places representative of Hispanic Culture / Heritage
2.Participation in State Competition (Florida State Spanish Conference – Orlando)
3. Hispanic Awareness Month
4.Cultural activities (such as fiestas and dinners at local Hispanic restaurants)
5. Participation in charitable events
6. Tutoring
