The FAFSA is used to determine your financial need and can qualify you for need-based loans and grants. Many colleges, universities, and scholarship programs require it. Seniors can apply for Federal Aid using the FAFSA<\/em> after <\/span>October 1st of their senior <\/strong>year at this link<\/a>. Please see the FAFSA tab on the CHS School Counseling page for more information.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Florida Bright Futures\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Students may complete the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) beginning October 1 of their Senior year. <\/strong><\/span><\/span>Please see the Creekside Guidance Bright Futures page for\u00a0 more information regarding eligibility and policies.<\/p>\n

Scholarships for St. Johns River State College<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you plan to attend SJRSC you may be eligible for a scholarship! All scholarship applications go through the SJCSD Foundation. All Applications are due April 1 for the following academic year. Click here<\/a> to find out more.<\/p>\n

Scholarships for Career\/ Technical Training<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

First Coast Technical College has quite a variety of scholarships available on their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Local, State, and National Scholarships<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Local Scholarships are posted by their due date so you will want to look ahead. Students may use Parchment to send transcripts (please see the Transcripts tab on the CHS Guidance page to create a Parchment account.) If you need a letter of recommendation or any other documentation from a teacher or counselor please allow at least two weeks advance notice. Please see Ms. Bunnell if you are awarded a scholarship from a community agency.<\/p>\n

Fastweb<\/a> is a free platform for students to search for college and trade school scholarships, and provides a variety of financial aid resources.<\/p>\n

Research loans, grants, scholarships, and work-study at Finaid.<\/a><\/p>\n
