Membership in NHS is one of the highest honors a student can achieve and provides opportunities to develop leadership skills, participate in service projects, and be recognized for academic achievement.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalhonorsociety.org\">https:\/\/www.nationalhonorsociety.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>NHS meetings<\/strong> are held on Thursdays each month.<br \/>\n<strong>Permission Slips:<\/strong> Coming Soon Through ParentSquare<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Eligibility at a Glance<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.0\">Students in the sophomore or junior class may apply to join in the spring semester if they meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum GPA: 3.75 Weighted GPA<\/li>\n<li>Service Requirement: At least 30 documented service hours\u00a0 (non-paid). Documentation must be through Home Access Center (HAC)<\/li>\n<li>Discipline: Level III or Level IV discipline infractions (grounds for non-selection)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.0\">Candidates are also evaluated on the four pillars of the NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Candidate Information Forms: Available<\/strong><strong>\u00a0January 2027<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.0\">The selection of members shall be held once a year, during the second semester of the school year.
