Brandon Dickman finished third at 182 pounds and Nick Vugman was third at 120 pounds in the Class 2A state tournament and lead The Record’s 2018 All-County Wrestling Team.

Creekside point guard J’Michael Plummer is The Record’s 2018 Boys Basketball Player of the Year. He led the Knights to a 27-5 record and an appearance in the Class 8A state championship game.

Creekside midfielder Zane Bubb is The Record’s 2018 Boys Soccer Player of the Year. The UNF signee scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists to help the Knights qualify for the playoffs for a second straight season.

Creekside’s Will Mayer finished second in the voting for the Florida Dairy Farmers Class 8A Boys Basketball Coach of the Year. Mayer was second behind Melvin Randall of Pompano Beach Ely, the team that beat the Knights in the 8A state championship game.Mayer led the Knights to a 27-5 record and their first title game appearance in school history. Mayer has a 92-27 record in his four seasons at Creekside. In each of the four years, the team improved its win total.

Creekside sprinter Makhaila Mills wins three events; senior Abby Thorpe leaps a Northeast Florida-best in the high jump to help the Knights girls win the home meet. Creekside’s boys top their neighborhood rival Bartram Trail to complete the sweep.
