Creekside tabs Chris Navarro to lead Boys XC

Creekside Athletics is thrilled to promote longtime assistant coach, Chris Navarro to lead Creekside Boys Cross Country.  Coach Navarro started as an Assistant Coach in 2010 for both Cross Country and Track and Field and has spent the last several years working closely with former Head Coach, Eric Frank.  Coach Navarro is a familiar face that will bring a seamless transition moving forward into the 2018 season.  In addition to his coaching experience, Coach Navarro has participated in numerous sports growing up, focusing on Track and Field from 6th grade through college, as a Division III sprinter.  As an adult, Coach Navarro is an active skier, cyclist, and runner, competing in all events up to and including the marathon.
Coach Navarro is very excited take on the challenge of being the Head Coach for Creekside Boys Cross Country, focusing on growing young men and guiding them to championship success.  He feels that in addition the success the Creekside Cross Country program has had, the focus has always been on the student athlete and helping them prepare for the future.  The boys are the reason for the success in the past and will remain so in the future.

Creekside looks forward to a run at the podium this year and to return to where championship form when the team won back to back state championships in 2015 and 2016.
