Creekside girls win district cross country title

Four county girls teams also advanced to regionals with Creekside dominating with just 22 points, followed by Ponte Vedra (59), St. Augustine (71) and Nease (113). Bartram Trail (114) finished just one point behind the Panthers to miss the regional cut.

Creekside’s Claire Openshaw (18:27.2), Elizabeth Iliff (19:11.0) and Blake Petrick (19:24) finished first, second and third, respectively in the girls 5K race, while Megan Graser (20:03.8) was sixth and Emily Tomasi (20:27.4) was 10th.

Creekside High School to host Winter Sports Media Day

St. Johns County’s top rated athletics program, Creekside High School, will host a “Winter Sports Media Day” on Saturday, November, 17th from 11am-1pm presented by Leonard’s Studios.  The event will focus attention on the athletes and coaches of the Creekside Knights’ boys and girls basketball, wrestling, competitive cheerleading, boys and girls soccer and girls weightlifting teams.  

 

In this exciting opportunity, Creekside’s Winter Sports teams will be on hand to take their annual, professional sports portraits with Leonard’s Studios. Additionally, local sports media outlets will be on hand to conduct interviews with coaches and athletes.  Creekside’s Winter Sports teams host a wealth of accomplished, high profile athletic talent that features several Division I prospects, All County athletes, District Champions, State Playoff contenders, State Runner-Ups and State Champions!

 

The event will feature food, games, activities and an overall enjoyable atmosphere for the everyone.  Family, friends, and supporters of Creekside Athletics alike are encouraged to join us as we prepare for another successful sports season!
