Creekside High School Athletics is excited to welcome Dan Meinert to the staff. Coach Meinert is the Knights’ new Head Boys’ Golf Coach.
Coach Meinert brings a wealth of athletics experience to Creekside. In Wisconsin, he was a high school teacher, coach, and athletic director. Coach Meinert held the position of Assistant AD at Ohio State and University of Minnesota, and Director of Athletics at Western Michigan University.
Coach Meinert relocated to Florida and pursued his passion for golf. He won the title of Florida State Senior Amateur Champion in 2003. In 2004, he became the Director of Golf Instruction at the Palencia Club. Coach Meinert is a member of the FCA/Toby Mac Golf Camp Golf Instructional Staff.
Coach Meinert and his wife Kathy have four children and six grandchildren.
