WELCOME TO THE 2024 -2025 SCHOOL YEAR!

The Hispanic Honor Society will hold its first mandatory meeting on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at 8:45am in the auditorium. Members are required to attend monthly meetings and wear their club shirts!

Following our first meeting, we will meet every second Wednesday of every month through May at the same time/location.

Why join HHS?
>>Looks very good on a college application;
>>Scholarships available to graduating seniors (both local and national level;
>> Join other members in activities that promote the Hispanic language and culture;
>>>>Fun activities and community service;
>>Competition at the regional and state level;
>>Wear an honor stole or cord at graduation.

Some of the possible activities of this organization are:

1.Field trips to places representative of Hispanic Culture / Heritage
2.Participation in State Competition (Florida State Spanish Conference – Orlando)
3. Hispanic Awareness Month
4.Cultural activities (such as fiestas and dinners at local Hispanic restaurants)
5. Participation in charitable events
6. Tutoring
