More than mere badges of honor for NHS members, these principles are transformative keys that unlock potential, enhancing every student’s educational journey, and ultimately empowering them to make profound, enduring contributions to our world.” (nationalhonorsociety.org) Are you a rising junior or senior who embodies the four pillars of an NHS member? Rising juniors and seniors may apply for membership in the spring semester. The application process is advertised on the morning announcements, KNN, the NHS Instagram account, the Shield newsletter, and community Facebook pages. Before applying, students must have a 3.75 weighted GPA, have at least 30 Bright Futures hours recorded, and have no Level 3 or 4 discipline issues.
Applications for the Spring 2025 induction are available outside Mr. Kalfa’s room (730) starting January 21, and completed applications must be returned to him no later than February 28. This is a strict deadline so please plan accordingly.
Meetings always fall on the first Friday of each month. The first meeting for current members is September 6 at 8:30 in the auditorium.
