The National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationally recognized organization that honors high school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Membership in NHS is one of the highest honors a student can achieve and provides opportunities to develop leadership skills, participate in service projects, and be recognized for academic achievement. https://www.nationalhonorsociety.org
NHS meetings are held on Tuesdays each month.

Eligibility at a Glance
Students in the sophomore or junior class may apply to join in the spring semester if they meet the following requirements:
- Minimum GPA: 3.75 Weighted GPA
- Service Requirement: At least 30 documented service hours (non-paid). Documentation must be through Home Access Center (HAC)
- Discipline: Level III or Level IV discipline infractions (grounds for non-selection)
Candidates are also evaluated on the four pillars of the NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

The selection of members shall be held once a year, during the second semester of the school year. Information will be updated on:

Acceptance letters will be distributed to selected candidates.
