Creekside Tennis put on an absolute CLINIC this year during the the District Tournament!
The boys team took an amazing 5 out of 7 District Titles this year, with Andrew Ferris earning a trip to States after taking the position 1 title. Additionally, Andrew and Aryan will head to States after taking the no. 1 doubles title.
Not to be outdone by the boys, the Lady Knights Tennis Team also took home a staggering 5 out of 7 District Titles!
The Knights Tennis Team is ready for the playoffs as they finish up their regular season play and head to the District Tournament.
The Lady Knights sit at a record of 9 wins and 3 losses while the Boys Team holds a record of 7 wins and 4 losses.
The Knights are led by their senior leaders Devon Reid and Andrew Ferris.
We are excited to see what the Knights Tennis Team can accomplish in Districts and beyond!
Tennis tryouts will start are on Monday January 18th at 2:30pm-4:30pm.
Tuesday 4:15pm-6:30pm
Wednesday 2:30pm-4:30pm
Thursday and Friday 4:15pm-6:30pm
Imani Graham has been playing tennis since she was 4 years old, but she had never been part of a tennis team before.
In her first experience with teammates, Graham and her fellow Creekside players advanced to the Class 3A state girls tournament. Although the Knights lost a tight 4-3 match to Naples Gulf Coast in the quarterfinals Wednesday at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Graham’s teammates will hang around today, hoping to root her on in the Class 3A singles competition.
