📌 Important Test Day Reminders
- ❌ No Make-Up Testing Students who are late or absent will not be able to reschedule. Testing begins promptly at 9:35 AM. Late arrivals will not be admitted into the testing room.
- 🧮 Calculator Policy: Must bring their own calculator—no sharing allowed. See the PSAT/NMSQT Calculator Policy for approved models.
- ⏰ Testing Ends Exams are expected to conclude between 1:15–1:30 p.m. You will be dismissed once all standard-time rooms finish.

⚠️ Students who are scheduled to take the PSAT with College Board-approved accommodations will receive a testing pass prior to test day. This pass will include their assigned testing room and other important test day details. Passes will be distributed by each student’s English teacher in the days leading up to the exam. Please remind your student to keep their pass in a safe place and bring it with them on test day.
Students can download the Official Student Guide to the PSAT/NMSQT® which includes test information and a full-length practice test with answer keys.
Dismissal:
To ensure an optimal testing environment, we will allow flexibility to students on this day. High school students who are not participating in the PSAT may complete assigned work from home. Students who are not taking the PSAT and come to school will stay in the auditorium to work on their schoolwork all day. Assigned work will be due on Thursday, October 23, the day after the exam.
✅ Students approved for early release will receive a dismissal pass on test day.
🚗 Parents may pick up their student at parent pickup. 🚶 Walkers, bikers, and student drivers with a pass may leave campus as if it were regular dismissal.
⏰ Please note: All dismissal times are approximate and depend on when the last standard-time, non-accommodated testing room begins the exam.
Accommodations:
If your student has a documented disability, they may be eligible for testing accommodations for the PSAT, SAT, and AP Exams through the College Board. Please note:
- An IEP or 504 Plan does not guarantee approval of accommodations for College Board exams. All decisions are made solely by the College Board.
- To request accommodations, the College Board’s Consent Form for Accommodations Request must be signed by both the student and parent/guardian and submitted to the student’s school counselor.
The deadline to submit completed Consent Form for Accommodations Request forms for the 2025–2026 PSAT administration was Friday, August 22, 2025. Forms were to be submitted directly to your student’s school counselor.
✅ Once approved, always active: If your student has received accommodations through the College Board, there’s no need to reapply for each individual exam. These accommodations will remain in effect throughout high school and will automatically apply to all future College Board tests.
📅 How long do they last? Accommodations stay active until one year after high school graduation, unless the College Board is notified that they are no longer needed.
🔍 Check or update accommodations: Students can view their current accommodations status by logging into their College Board account. To request changes, a new consent form must be submitted.
If you have any questions about submitting College Board accommodations, please contact your student’s School Counselor.
Please visit College Board for the SSD Updates following changes beginning in Spring 2025 for the following accommodations:
- Embedded Text to Speech in Bluebook
- Extended Time
- Temporary Supports
- Accommodation Names
