How Does It Work?
Students must join AP Classroom using the AP Join Codes provided by their teachers. Once they join the course, they are automatically registered for the AP Exam, and an exam is ordered for them.
This is a very important step. Every student must join AP Classroom for each AP course in which they are enrolled.
Deadline to Join AP Classroom and Order Exams
- CHS Students: October 2, 2026
- FLVS Students: TBA
Spring FLVS/SJVS Deadline to Join AP Classroom and Order AP Exams: TBA
Students taking an AP course through FLVS must print and complete the AP Exam Registration Form and submit it to Mr. Jackson to receive their AP Exam Join Code.
Is There a Fee?
Students enrolled in a Creekside AP course do not have to pay the AP Exam fee. However, students who drop one or more AP courses after the exam registration deadline will be responsible for a $40 cancellation fee per course dropped. Students who are absent on test day or require late testing may also be subject to a fee of $40 or more. The fee amount is determined by the College Board.
Every student enrolled in an Advanced Placement (AP) course is expected to take the AP Exam in May.
Requesting Accommodations
My Student Has an IEP, 504 Plan, or ELL Plan. How do they receive accommodations?
Students who currently have an IEP, 504 Plan, or ELL Plan will not automatically receive accommodations for AP Exams. A separate application process is required to request accommodations through the College Board.
If your student has previously been approved for College Board accommodations (PSAT, SAT, or AP Exams), an additional request is not needed.
If your student has not previously been approved and would like to use accommodations for AP Exams, please contact your student’s counselor by January 22, 2027.
To learn more about requesting accommodations, visit College Board SSD.
For AP testing-related questions, please contact Mr. Wade Jackson, Assistant Principal, at [email protected].
