Scholarship for Children of First Responders

Deadline- March 1, 2019

St. Augustine and St. Johns County Board of Realtors Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior attending college (2 or 4 year) with a GPA with at least a 2.0. Application must be submitted along with and essay describing the student’s career objectives and plans upon graduation from high school and an explanation of how you plan to finance your education. Three references are required.

Stanley G. Tate Florida Prepaid College Foundation Scholarship

Only for St. Johns County Students 9-12. Applicants must submit a 500 word essay on ” The Value of Public Service: How Can Public Service Positively Affect an Individual and Their Community?”

Submit on letter of recommendation from an educator or professional.

Submit a 200-250 word personal essay on how you have given back to your community, why you think you are deserving of the scholarship, and what your future plans are.

Liberty Pines Academy Scholarship for Seniors

Eligibility:  Any student who attended Liberty Pines Academy and is a member of the graduating class of 2017. Students must have a definite plan to further their education at a recognized post-secondary, degree, or certificate-granting school for the 2017-2018 school year.

Requirements:  1) Complete the application. 2) Write a 500-word essay detailing your favorite memories of LPA and how it made you who you are today. 3) High School Guidance Counselor verification form. 4) Submit all requirements to Guidance Counselor BY March 14, 2018

**$500.00 Scholarship will be awarded at the end of the school year.





Hester Abbey’s Floor Covering Scholarship

2 STEM scholarships designated for any Math or Science major attending a college or university in the fall.  One will be awarded for Merit and one will be need based. Each are worth $2,000. Please see Mrs. Tippins in Guidance for an application.

OppU Achievers Scholarship

To apply for the OppU Achievers Scholarship, submit a short essay responding to the prompted question. Scholarship decisions are based solely on an applicant’s essay response.

Winners for the OppU Achievers Scholarship are selected four times a year, with submission deadlines on September 30, December 31, March 31,

and June 30.

To be eligible for the OppU Achievers Scholarship, a student must:

  • Be enrolled full time in high school or at least part time in college, graduate, professional, or trade school.
  • Possess a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.

Award Amount- $2,500

Alpha Delta Kappa Scholarship for Seniors

Any graduating senior in St. Johns, Clay and Flagler counties who plans to pursue a degree in Education is eligible to apply.  The deadline to submit a completed application is March 23, 2018.  The amount of the scholarship varies from year to year, however, in recent years we have been able to award $1000 scholarships.

Southern Scholarship Foundation — RENT-free housing for FSU, Florida A&M, UF, FGCU, TCC, and Sante Fe CC

SSF provides rent-free scholarship housing for qualified stduents demonstrating acdemic achievement (3.0 GPA), financial need (from FAFSA), and good character.
